Matt Cox

Founder & Owner

Matt has been dancing for most of his life. A Smooth Jive Champion he founded Serene Dance almost 10 years ago. His experience in running and comparing dance events inspired him to create the UK’s first afternoon dance event and Serene dance has been running successfully ever since.

Matt is passionate about ensuring everybody has the best time at Serene and that they leave with happy memories each and every time.

Sam Jamal

Operations

Sam has been with Serene since the very start and has been an integral part of it’s successful growth

Sam is the master of operational delivery and is always on hand to provide a warm welcome to everyone. You know when Sam is in the room for sure and if you are short of a dance partner, she is always available for a spin around the floor.

Flick Buchanon

PR And Marketing

Flick has been dancing in the Jive and WCS community for more than 10 years. Flick is a PR and Marketing professional and she works very closely with Sam and the team to make sure our community are kept up to speed with what’s happening at Serene through our marketing and social channels.
