Join us on Sunday 14th June for 5 hours of freestyle across FIVE rooms with guest DJ’s playing smooth jive, west coast swing, blues, expressive music and Kizomba. There will be a free Kizomba class at 2pm for anyone interested. Make it a full Sunday session and take part in the 3 hour workshop beforehand:

From Frame to Flow: Smooth Style and Effortless Spins - Workshop with Jay & Anna
Ready to level up your dancing and feel effortless on the floor?
In this workshop, we will explore the foundations that transform your dancing from “just going through the motions” to feeling smooth, connected, and controlled.
We will start by building a strong, responsive frame, focusing on posture, balance, and where your weight should really be. You’ll learn how small adjustments create big changes, and how to implement this for different connection points.
Using these skills, we will then dive into connected spins and single-footed turns, and break down the technique required to help you find balance and control.
Whether you want sharper technique, smoother flow, or just to feel more confident in your dancing, this workshop will give you the tools to make it happen.

Jay & Anna are top-level Modern Jive dancers, with multiple national and international titles. Most notably, they are the Open winners of Ceroc Pan Asia Championship 2024, UK Ceroc Champs 2025 and World Modern Jive Championships JnJ 2026!
Anna trained in ballet for 17 years, with additional experience in jazz and contemporary, while Jay began with street and hip hop at university before discovering Modern Jive. Together, they bring a unique blend of precision, musicality, and grounded movement to their dancing.
Known for their fluid connection and clean, versatile style, Jay & Anna specialise in making technique feel natural and effortless by breaking down complex ideas into simple, usable concepts.
They can’t wait to share their passion with you in their workshop.

Jess & Charlie from “Kizomba Moments” will be teaching an introductory class from 2pm to 3pm in the Kizomba Studio followed by 4 hours of freestyle.
Serene Swing
Saturday 22nd August - Serene Swing is back with a party night dedicated to West Coast Swing dancers. Enjoy an evening of great music from your favourite DJ’s in the main room at The Space Hub with it’s sprung dance floor and superb sound system.

The Space Hub is a purpose built studio with sprung floors, mirrored walls, mood lighting and a great sound system. There’s plenty of comfortable seating and room to dance.

Our events take place at The Space Hub in Woodley, Reading where we benefit from purpose built dance studios with:

The Space Hub is situated on the first floor above high street shops, bars and restaurants in the small and friendly town of Woodley. There is ample parking at Headley Street Car Park just a few minutes walk from the venue.
